Puraai

Puraai was born in 2018 from the inspiration of two young Italian designers during a trip to Japan. They were captivated by a small detail on a recyclable plastic bottle. Indeed, ラ is part of the Japanese character used to identify a recyclable product. This sparked the idea to create a product line that exclusively uses sustainable and recycled materials. "Pura" means "plastic" in Japanese, and "ai" means "love," because when used, recycled, and reused properly, plastic can be a versatile material to create any object with respect for our beloved environment. Today, Puraai offers environmentally friendly products for cultural change, attractive in aesthetics and practical for everyday use, presenting a different approach to material use.
