John Smedley

Smedley is one of many brands that started as a family business, yet one of the very few that still remains to be one till this day. Started in Derbyshire in 1784, the business is still producing knitwear that is widely regarded to be amongst the best available. In January 2013, John Smedley received the Royal Warrant of Appointment from Her Majesty The Queen as ‘Manufacturer of Fine Knitwear’, meaning they even supply the British Royal Family in their knitwear.
