Bruna Pigato Le Russeghine
Bright straw-yellow colored with delicate green nuances. Ample and varietal on the nose: fruity aromas (yellow peach, citron, grapefruit), Mediterranean aromatic herbs (sage, thyme, pine resin, anise). Full and persistent on the palate, with marked savouriness and mineral hints. Citrus fruit and almond notes on the finish.
The Bruna company is, not registered, a organic wine maker since 10 years. Since last year they are in the track to receive an registered organic stamp. After producing wine organicly for more then three years, the farmer will receive this organic quality stamp.
The harvest time is mid september. All grapes are being hand picked from the vines, most of them our more then 25 years old. Soft pressing, removal of solid matter from the must and controlled-temperature fermentation at 18°. Ageing in steel and large barrel on fine lees for eight months.
